Heat Pumps Now Available

Heat pumps are increasingly becoming a popular choice for sustainable and efficient home heating and cooling solutions. Recognizing their potential in reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, the Victorian Government, through Solar Victoria, offers an attractive rebate of $1,000 to homeowners who choose to install these systems.

This initiative is part of a broader strategy to encourage the adoption of renewable energy technologies in residential properties. In addition to the Solar Victoria Rebate, heat pumps are also eligible for Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) and Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEECs) rebates. STCs are part of the federal government's Renewable Energy Target scheme, providing a financial incentive based on the system's expected energy generation over a set period. Meanwhile, VEECs, part of the Victorian Energy Upgrades program, offer rebates for energy efficiency improvements, including the installation of heat pumps. Together, these rebates significantly reduce the upfront cost of installing a heat pump, making it an even more attractive investment for homeowners looking to improve their home's energy efficiency, reduce energy bills, and contribute to a cleaner environment.

Midland Solar were very easy to deal with, and extremely honest upfront around costs and benefits. We installed Micro-inverters, which although more expensive, suited our location better. The results have spoken for themselves.

All time frames promised were met, and the final installation of the black panels on a dark roof look fantastic, including painting the end of the rails where they were cut so they were all black and matching.

Midland Solar also made the connection to the grid seamless.

The follow up service around finding us the best deal on our electricity provider was spot on. Took all of the hassle out finding the cheapest provider.
