Haier MONOBLOCK HP200
The Haier Monoblock HP200 is a 200 litre heat pump hot water system, suited to a smaller household or a couple.
It uses R290 as its refrigerant, which has a very low global warming potential compared with the R134a used in many older heat pumps. As a monoblock, the refrigerant circuit is sealed within the one unit, which keeps installation simple.
Like every heat pump, it works by moving heat out of the surrounding air rather than generating heat with an element, so it uses far less power than conventional electric hot water.
